If you run Windows XP and have used the Explorer to browse for files, then you would have noticed that hovering your cursor over a file would have displayed something like this (See image below);
You would have got a Info tip of the Files properties, and depending on the file, a discription of size, date, Author and type. You will note that with a Zip file it displays the Ziped file contents.
The routine below will give you these details.
