Consulting contact form question help:
To ensure that your quotation is handled for you, the client, in the best possible manner, and to save you time and money, we humbly request that you follow the guidelines below when requesting a service from XcelFiles.
(1) Please do not assume that we know the nature of your business or profession.
(2) When referring to specific cells, please use the cell address or name.
(3) When referring to specific Worksheets, please use the exact Worksheet name.
(4) When referring to a specific Workbook, please use the exact Workbook name.
(5) Please do not use abbreviations, pet names etc., as we will have no idea what these mean.
(6) Please do not include irrelevant information, eg; be clear, precise and as direct as possible.
(7) During the time of consultation please include history in all email correspondence.
(8) Please do not try and detail your entire project in one email, just an outline is sufficient initially.
(9) If you decide to use XcelFiles then the most efficient progress is made by you breaking your
project into small "bite size chunks"* and sending me details of each "chunk"
(10) Please print this page.
Keeping in mind the above, it is usually best if your specifications for your project and/or consultancy are broken down into four areas:
1) Outline the relevant project.
2) State the requirements that you wish XcelFiles to provide.
3) Clearly state your expectations for the completed project.
4) Break the project into small 'bite size chunks' *
* bite size chunks: Each "chunk" will need your "OK" before I proceed to the next "chunk".
This is for your benefit as well as ours, because at the end of the day we wish to give you the best QUALITY product, SERVICE and COST. This can be achieved by Scoping out your project properly right from the very start.
