Just a little bit about myself.

I am married to a lovely woman who has given me 2 beautiful boys.

It is my family that gives me the force and energy to apply myself.

I owe them LOTS !! for their love and patience.

* My Philosophy *

Life is hard enough without complicating it through the way we interact with others. My GOLDEN RULE that I always try to practice is;

"Do to others as you would like them to do to you"

I believe that if you practice this in ALL endeavors without exception and treat All with dignity and respect then everything else falls into place.

Too many times you will see people focusing on THINGS rather then the person or the internal / eternal being - help the person and everything falls into place and you get more satisfaction then any bottom line $.

What do I do - I'm a Production manager for a large Plant Bakery.

I have been on and off programing since the early days of the

commodore 64, when I learnt BASICS and Assembly language

(Machine language) It was then just a hobby.

I didn't get into Excel until some 4 years ago (1998) when I was

forced to use it as we were getting into automation in our factory...........

so I learnt Excel > formulas > macros > VBA, VB, VB Script

Now dabbling in Html, Java script and looking @ VB.Net

I guess excel formulas came to me easily as I would have majored in

mathematics if I went to University !, I've always liked the pure maths side of mathematics and once scored 98% for my full years work in University Maths exam. Why do I mention this...well I recall going to Tech and setting a goal of 100% for my Full years work (impossible as it may seem) and then setting about doing the things to get me there. The realization of getting so close was empowering and gratifying and set me up for what you CAN DO if you apply yourself. As I already had a background in programing the VBA came easily, one of the keys being

practice, practice and more practice.

I'm currently working out of home on a part time basis and have done a number of big / small jobs for office products. Including work for other consultants who specialize in Excel. I hope to eventually do this full time or do something that allows me to be my own boss, the owner of my destiny.

My postings @ MrExcel, and a number of other sites (currently 7 other forums) have put me in contact with many very good people and enabled me to establish contacts all over the world. Thanks guys & girls I owe you.

THE most important part of you, and NO, It is my beleif that you DO NOT need to belong to any religion to be Spiritual, to those whose say you DO, then you have not looked deep within yourself for the true answers.

Currently a member of the International High IQ Society. Membership in the International High IQ Society is open to persons who have an IQ in the top five percent of the population and who want to be part of our global community. In my opinion a better one then MENSA.
